What shape cake can I have?

We offer different sized ROUND cakes to suit your needs. To find out what size you may need, let us know your number of serves when you enquire with us. We also offer cakes in letter (A-Z), number (0-9) and love heart shapes. Unfortunately due to limited capacity and space, slab cakes are unable to be ordered.

What flavours do you have?

We have a wide variety of cake flavours, fillings and buttercreams to choose from! We plan our menu in such a way that you choose your cake flavour and can mix and match it to any of our fillings and frostings, without having a set combination. This way we offer a unique cake experience and can cater to your personal preferences. We offer endless cake options, each unique and delicious – however see below for some of our most popular combinations:

  • Chocolate mud paired with chocolate ganache
  • White chocolate mud paired with raspberry and white chocolate ganache

I want a cake flavour that’s not on your list, can you make it?

Absolutely! We are always looking to expand our menu and would love to trial any new and exciting cake flavours you may desire. Contact us to enquire about your cake flavour and we will test out new recipes to find the perfect one for you.

I have a multiple tiered cake – can I have multiple cake flavours?

Yes absolutely. 2 tiers = 2 flavours, 3 tiers = 3 flavours etc. Perfect for when you can’t decide on just one! Let us know your preferences when enquiring.

Do you decorate cakes in fondant?

Unfortunately we do not use fondant to cover our cakes. Feedback from our customers has shown that fondant isn’t as tasty as buttercream or ganache and often consumers leave it behind on the plate. The taste and texture of fondant isn’t something we enjoy and we only want to offer our customers a quality product that they will be licking every last scrap off their plate. We can make fondant decorations to decorate a buttercream or ganache cake if you would like. Please get in contact with us to chat more.

How much do your cakes cost?

All of our cakes are custom quoted based on size, chosen flavour/filling, decoration and design and collection method and therefore it is impossible to have a set price for our cakes. We find it to be unreasonable to charge the same for a plain vanilla cake with buttercream filling compared to a chocolate cake with ganache, gold leaf, flowers and a cake topper. The way we do it supports us in getting a fair price for our product and most importantly, the consumer gets what they’re paying for – it’s a win win!

Can my florist do the flowers on my cake?

Yes – your wedding or event florist can supply your cake flowers; however, we don’t allow florists to place flowers on our cakes. This takes away from the design process and we want to make sure you’re left with a top quality and beautifully designed cake. If you would like your florist to supply your flowers, please let us know when enquiring and we are more than happy to liaise with them. We do have a local florist we use who can supply your cake flowers. Prices for fresh floral arrangements start from $30.

Can I supply my own cake topper?

Yes absolutely! If you would like us to place your cake topper and design your cake around it, we ask that you deliver it to us (if buying online) or drop it off no later than 1 week prior to your event.

How much are the cake toppers you supply?

We can supply you with cake toppers for any occasion and will show you designs and colours prior to ordering. Customised toppers are available. Toppers can be cardboard, wood or acrylic – however, we recommend acrylic as they are stronger and more durable. Cost starts from $15 and varies based on design/colour/material. We do not charge commission for cake toppers; we just pass on the unit cost straight to you. Contact us for assistance with purchasing your cake topper.

Are cake stands available to hire?

We have a variety of cake stands available to hire. Hire fee is $20 with a refundable bond of $50. Bond is only refundable upon return of the cake stand in clean, good condition. If you decide to keep the item or any damage or defect is present upon return, you forfeit your bond. Hire is dependent on availability.

How do I store my cake?

Cakes are to be stored in the refrigerator until 1 hour prior to service. We always recommend you serve and consume your cake at room temperature to optimise the flavour and texture of the product. Please make sure you have adequate refrigerator space (particularly height for tall cakes) prior to pick up. Cut cakes will keep well in the fridge for up to 3 days. Cakes are also suitable for freezing – simply cut your portions, wrap in plastic wrap and freeze in an airtight container or freezer bag.

How do I transport my cake?

Cakes are best transported on the floor (preferably front seat) of your passenger vehicle OR in the boot of a SUV. If able, your best bet is to bring a helper with you on your drive and get them to hold the cake in the car on their lap. Be sure to drive slowly and take it easy around the corners. Cool air-conditioning is required at all times.
